Mexican Inventor’s Day at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes

On February 18th, as part of the Mexican Inventor’s Day Commemoration, “Applied Research for Problem Solving,” the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, through its General Directorate of Outreach, held an event featuring Engineer Francisco X. Valdes Simancas, who gave the lecture: “The Relevance of Applied Research in Developing Countries.”

At this conference, the system and method for resource recovery and regenerative irrigation was presented, encompassing the full utilization of water and nutrients for crop fertigation, soil regeneration, and aquifer recharge. This innovative model has the potential to contribute significantly to the sustainability of the Aguascalientes aquifer and is expected to have a positive impact worldwide.

This event also recognized inventors from the institution, and presented the research results of professors and researchers in the aquaculture sector.
