On March 20, Engineer Francisco X. Valdes attended the 1st National Water Forum, organized by the Autonomous University of Chapingo, where he participated in the round table “Alternatives to make water use more efficient in agriculture, evaluation and implementation.” An event held with the objective of creating awareness on the correct use and care of water, as well as generating alternatives to make the use of this vital liquid more efficient in agriculture.
The event was presided over by Dr. Consuelo Lobato Calleros, General Director of the General Directorate of Research and Graduate Studies of the Autonomous University of Chapingo. She was accompanied by M.C. Noe López Martínez, Academic General Director and Acting Rector of the Autonomous University of Chapingo, Dr. Federico Hahn Schlam, Research Professor of the Irrigation Department of the Autonomous University of Chapingo and Dr. Juan Antonio Villanueva Jiménez of the College of Graduates.
