The 36th ANEAS Convention and Expo was held on November 20 in Chihuahua, where Eng. Francisco X. Valdés presented the conference “Circular Economy for Water Security in Chihuahua” together with Mario Mata Carrasco, executive director of ANEAS.
During this talk, key strategies were highlighted, such as the use of treated wastewater, soil regeneration, and efficient irrigation technologies, focused on ensuring the sustainability of water resources in the state. The project for the first irrigation district of reclaimed water for the country, DR-ARR Tabalaopa, was discussed. And for the first time, Regenerative Irrigation was presented, a concept that will surely change paradigms as a sustainability model.
