On March 24, engineer Francisco X. Valdés participated in the Puebla Government’s Morning Briefing at the invitation of Governor Alejandro Armenta, a key platform for direct dialogue on the state’s water-related challenges and opportunities.
During his remarks, he shared his vision for the Water Plan and the infrastructure required to move toward more efficient, sustainable, and regenerative water management. This approach aims not only to meet current demand, but also to restore the balance of aquifers after decades of overexploitation.
The commitment and coordination among the various secretaries and agency heads were also highlighted, as their joint efforts are driving a strategic project that will benefit thousands of families in Puebla.
Engineer Francisco X. Valdés reiterated that through planning, innovation, and collaboration between government, the technical sector, and society, it is possible to build long-term solutions that ensure water security in Puebla.
