From August 28 to 30 in Cancun, the XVI edition of the 2024 Annual Congress of the Mexican Association of Protected Horticulture (AMHPAC) was held. At this event, Eng. Francisco X. Valdes gave the conference: Situation and solutions for water in Mexico and the world, where he exchanged experiences with the best producers of protected horticulture.
He emphasized: we are in a world with an increasingly larger population, and with a need not only to conserve, but to increase areas of forests and rainwater collection. Intensive agriculture, not extensive agriculture, is the solution that is increasingly required.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to learn about the challenges facing the Industry and learn from experts who shared strategies that will redefine the direction of business in Protected Horticulture.
